What is the proccess to sign up to a scheme?

Sign up on your respective schemes website.
2.
Get your company reference number to share with your employees.
3.
You will recieve an invoice and a hire agreement.
4.
You and your employee will sign and return the egreement.
5.
You will make your payment and recieve the voucher code to give to your employee.
6.
Your employee will use their voucher to collect their new ebike.
Cost Savings:
Employers can make savings in numerous areas by taking up a cycle scheme. Along with the 13.8% you will save on emloyers NI contributions, savings on employees transport and daily parking fees can also be saved.
Finance Available:
Finnance is available with some schemes to help ease your cashflow. There is a small charge usually around 8.5% which is countered by the 13.8% NIC savings you gain from the scheme. This still results in a saving of over 5% for you as an employer and better still you dont have to fund the costs yourself.

I own a small business, can I apply for a cycle scheme?
Cycle schemes cater for companies of any size. For example the Green Commute Initiative offer "Instant GCI", this is 100% online process. Once you have cpmleted the online application you will recieve a pro-forma invoice, once this is paid you will recieve agreements to e-sign. Then the order is authorised for release, you will then recieve your instructions regarding salary sacrifice. This whole proccess can often be completed the same day.
I have 1000+ employees, can i use a Cycle Scheme?
For larger companies with many employees a bespoke set-up is favorable, many schemes have corperate options available. Some go as far as providing a dedicated platform for you to approve or reject your eployee requests, this allows you to customise your scheme to suit your requirements by setting your own rules.

What if I want to supply ebikes for staff to use?
The Green Commute Initiative are leading the way with their option to hire a Corporate e-Bike Pool, this can include a selection of e-Cargo bikes and e-Bikes for your staff to use in the course of their daily work. As the employer you can also choose to allow your eployees to make use of the pool bikes to commute or even use them for leisure purposes.
Supplying pool bikes can have a huge positive effect by improving your employees fitness and mental wellbeing as well as the obvious savings in the cost of transportation to and from the place of work.

Are there scheme limits?
The schemes we work with have no upper limit, however as an employer you can set whatever upper limit you wish on a per employee basis. This gives you the ability to choose from any type of bike aand accessories to go with it.
